Internal Complaint Committee

In accordance of the Protection against Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act 2013 law, our organization has decided to form the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) as prescribed under law in order to provide protection against sexual harassment of any case.

She for She

This campaign has been initiated under leadership of Ms. Nidhi Sinha, where we are looking after Menstrual Hygiene of our children falling under the age group & also of their family members. While having discussion with few girls & visualising the problems they are facing, we thought of exploring possibilities in to it. We have started discussion at our RKGIT Literacy centre & came across many surprising facts. Around 17 girls are passing through natural phenomena of menstrual cycle & most of them are not taking care of their own health, even they are not aware about it. We started discussing over it in detail & initiated a campaign in hostels of Donating One Sanitary Pad every month in order to provide support to them. We received a fantastic support & our campaign catches pace. We are continuously involved in analysis and outcome of this project. We are strongly committed to bring major change in life of many of girls through this initiative.

Umang Festival

This is our annual sports event being conducted across all our literacy centres. We organize various sorts of events ranging from Athletics, Badminton, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho etc. This event has been started in order to generate interest towards sports & sense of competing each other in different situations. This event is helping our kids to boost their confidence.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship Program

This is one of our most ambitious project which was proposed in order to search talents hidden in this society due to some financial constraints. And, also to enhance general awareness skills of our children whom we are teaching daily. Under this initiative, We used to conduct tests in govt. run Primary Schools & select few of children in order to support them for continuing their education. To enhance general awareness skills, we have designed a special curriculum and are implementing on our literacy centres with proper feedback mechanism to analyse the impact it is making in life of our kids.
Under this Program, we have our special team working on all the opportunities available for our kids. We have a special team working for JNV Entrance Preparation & other prestigious govt. school entrance exams.
During academic year 2017-2018, three of our kids from RKGIT Literacy centre Aman, Puja & Poonam cleared JNV Entrance Test.

Pratibha Samman Samaroh

This is also one of our annual event which we organise to honor young talents. During the academic year, we analyse our kid’s performance & his involvement towards education and then for appreciating their efforts we distribute awards & gifts to them. We also give special recognition to few of our members who are making all efforts to bring changes and happiness in life of these kids.

Cloth Distribution & Festival Celebration

Since the financial condition of our children & their families is not good, they don’t have sufficient clothes to cover their bodies against the odds of nature. In this respect, at regular intervals, we distribute clothes among these children and their families. We also distribute clothes at various public places like Railway Station, Bus Stations, Hospitals in order to support all the needy people.
We also celebrate various festivals and with our kids to bring bunch of smiles on their faces.

Prayas – एक सुनहरे कल की ओर

This is our new initiative to communicate with all our well wishers. Prayas is our quarterly magazine which will contain our routine activities, mainly bring in to execution to provide space for hidden talents of our kids and to enrich their thinking ability. We will also publish views of our members & their creativity. The first edition released in April, 2018.

Aarogya Vatika

It is an initiative started at our RKGIT Literacy Center. “Aarogya Vatika” simply means Health Awareness Camp, which is started at our RKGIT Literacy center in 2017 with the help of Pharmacy department of RKGIT college. In this health awareness camp, we conduct various basic medical tests for women and children living in adverse conditions at our camps. We are gradually increasing the number of medical tests done every year and far now have successfully conducted medical tests for more than 500 children and women for consecutive 2 years. We are also committed to provide special health assistance to any children based on reports of our primary medical tests.

An internship enables you to gain first-hand exposure of working in the real world. It also allows students to harness the skill, knowledge, and
theoretical practice they learnt. SO, Here we are, bringing opportunity of
